About Me

I am a queer social worker, psychosexual and relationship therapist. My educational background includes undergraduate studies in Social Work, followed by postgraduate specialization in Psychosexual Therapy at the University of Sydney. I am a member of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) and the Society of Australian Sexologists (SAS).

I undertake a holistic approach to my work, recognizing the complex intersections of culture, religion, ability, gender, sexuality, race, and class. I am dedicated to empowering clients to achieve sexually satisfying and pleasurable lives. I merge my social work expertise with clinical sexology, challenging cultural and societal norms through advocacy, psychoeducation, and therapeutic interventions to promote sexual empowerment.

I employ a trauma-informed perspective and affirm queerness in practice. I utilize various therapeutic modalities, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy, and Gottman’s Couples Therapy, tailoring my approach to suit each client's individual needs and preferences. I also draw upon skills learnt from other therapeutic modalities such as Transactional Analysis and Internal Family Systems.

As a practitioner, I embody empathy, compassion, and non-judgmentalism, fostering an inclusive and safe therapeutic environment where clients can explore their sexual health, identity, and related concerns

My professional experience encompasses working with diverse populations, including the queer community, sex workers, relationship concerns, couples, and those facing libido or desire discrepancies. I assist survivors of sexual assault and individuals grappling with sexual function issues such as painful sex, performance anxiety, vaginismus, orgasm difficulties, erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation/rapid ejaculation, and delayed ejaculation. I have significant experience as a perinatal therapist, providing support to new parents, those experiencing grief and loss, and those who are planning for a baby.

As a practitioner, I embody empathy, compassion, and non-judgmentalism, fostering an inclusive and safe therapeutic environment where clients can explore their sexual health, identity, and related concerns. My ultimate goal is to enhance pleasure, intimacy, and connection while contributing to broader societal changes through sexual empowerment.
